FerrariCraft is the brainchild of Steven Markowski, whose morning chores as a teenager were to rewire the dashboard of a Ferrari 365 GTB or rebuild the transaxle on an ’84 512 BB, all before heading to competing in semi-professional bicycle races in the afternoon. At a time when his friends were working at an ice cream shop, feeding horses, or mowing lawns, Steven, the son of Peter Markowski, grew up on a horse farm of sorts, but the horses were the prancing ones on the hoods of over 70 of the Italian masterpieces known as Ferrari that Restoration Performance Motorcars has restored.

Kick Assets redesigned the site for Restoration & Performance Motorcars in Fall of 2009 and has updated the WordPress site since with FaceBook integration, LIKE buttons, Google Analytics, and automated Twitter posting.

Shooters Greg Comollo and Bill Lockwood captured the energy of the party, including Amp sponsored athletes, Burton execs, and industry notables. Pictures were uploaded to the Fuse communications team where they went out to editors throughout the snowboard scene.

Bill Lockwood bought Ford and the Fiesta credibility in a market where Ford and other domestic auto manufacturers didn’t belong. Through accessing the core enthusiasts, team members, and other taste makers, Blockwood organically planted the seed for what Ford would ultimately grow into a massive marketing campaign using Subaru’s former YouTube star Ken Block, and a host of X Games drivers in Ford sponsored Fiestas.

Ford’s use of social networking to aid in the launch of the Fiesta is groundbreaking, and by influencing consumers through word of mouth, action, and online visibility, Bill Lockwood created additional credibility for the Fiesta among auto enthusiasts and rally racing fans in a space heavily guarded by Subaru and the cult-like niche of the import market its WRX occupies.

As a winner of multiple Rally America Championships, Matthew has a strong background in rally and at a young age. Outside of the competitive calendar, Matthew sharpens his skills by coaching other rally drivers and owners of exotic cars, at the Bridgestone Winter Driving School and at the Audi Driving Experience, as well as other one-off events and private programs.

Matthew is a frequent guest on radio and television programs – he loves media attention, and always provides his signature brand of entertainment for the audience. When not working Matthew enjoys mountain biking or skiing during the day and DJs, music, and parties at night.

Matthew was awarded Ford Racing’s Sportsman of the Week after winning the second stop of the RallyCar European-style Rallycross in NJ in Fall of 2010. He went on to solidify a deal with The Nitro Circus for 2011. Nitro Circus is Travis Pastrana’s video-savvy band of merry stunters that will generate over 30 million impressions in 2011.

stuffieatfrom711.com was a project started by a friend at RISD. A departure from a classic food review site, SIEF711 gave reviewed to foods not normally worthy of qualitative assessment. Of course not good idea is every great without a hook. SIEF711′s was that all foods were rated on a scale of 1 to 11, the highest score being a relatively average 7. Despite the utter convenience of eating at and writing about 7-Eleven, posting stopped once quantitive inquiry was performed on our own proportions.

An excerpt:

The absence of 7-Eleven since southern California was enough to make me wonder if life would ever be the same, seriously now, few stores ooze as much in-store personality right beside good-old-fashioned value. My heart sank as I realized that I’d miss the first 7-Eleven that I’d seen since Long Beach – my RV just wouldn’t slow fast enough, but if you’ve seen one 7-Eleven, then another isn’t far off.

I stopped at the 7-Eleven on Route 12 in Aberdeen, Washington and selected a Spicy Big Bite hot dog and a Bud Light & Clamato flavored “Chelada.” Added to the hot dog were sauerkraut, yellow mustard, pickle relish, and a dab of salsa, while the Chelada comes standard “with Salt and Lime. The Perfect Combination” …says it right on the can.

The hot dog was eaten first, and 7-Eleven’s “spicy” flavor is now becoming familiar. It’s a certain, ever-present and nearly artificial hotness whose same-every-bite consistency is unmatched by any hot sauce. I don’t particularly like it. It gets the job done with all of the impersonality of a glory hole.

Texturally, the Spicy Big Bite was pleasant. The typical uniformity and rubbery “meat” of a hot dog was replaced with a firmness that I’d welcome in any cased meat product. The meat itself was juicy, and good tasting, but not devoid of gristle which best seemed left unacknowledged. The bun and condiments were standard without need for review, excepting the sauerkraut, which was grated into unrealistically crunchy strands [visible in photo]. Overall the hot dog was very good, and lived up to the “big” name swimmingly.

Washing down this meat-treat was a 24 ounce Bud Light & Clamato Chelada. A Chelada may seem like a relatively new offering to SIEF711′s mostly WASPY reader base; however, those of with a little Latin in them, and not the stercus accidit kind, might know that a Chelada is basically a Mexican mixed drink made with beer. Whether it’s an attempt by Anheuser Busch to culture us or patronize the latin community (again the Chicano and not the academic kind), I like it. The 24 oz. version has about 300 calories, 31 grams of carbs, 4.2% alcohol by volume, and a generous amount of salt. It should be said that none of my friends or acquaintances will drink it – mainly due to the “Clamato” brand name. Of course, anyone worth their salt that has spent some time on Nantucket will know that clams and drinking go together like Velcro.

The taste of Bud Light & Clamato Chelada is excellent, the alcohol seems only faintly present and my lack of buzz after drinking the entire 24 oz. can reflected that. The saltiness is pleasant as is the the tomato juice. Overall, drinking a can is not unlike having salsa atop “Hint o’Lime” Tostitos brand corn chips. If your response to Chelada is as positive as mine, it should be noted that Chelada only comes in four gangs and not the expected six pack.
